Julia & Michael
I met Julia through my work with Summit church a few years ago.
The day we first discussed her wedding she was goofing around in a video for the student ministry wearing a mustard costume…like a bottle of mustard.
But she does much better in a wedding dress than the mustard bottle. It was a beautiful wedding, and I’m so honored to have been a part of it.
They wanted a longer video and left the music choice to me. I feel like Saxon Shore was the perfect choice.
Strange thing, is I didn’t cry at the wedding. But I definitely teared up editing it. Ha.
Samia & Trae
I have been friends with Samia for the longest time, so it was so cool to be a part of her wedding.
From the start she told me this was not a normal wedding. It would be her family and Trae’s family at the beach at sunrise, and they would get married. But that was as far normal as it went.
And it was awesome. Easily the most laid back wedding I had ever been to or been a part of.
And there is just something good about sunrise and Explosions In The Sky.
Tom & Marissa
Marissa and I quickly bonded through introductions about how neither of us likes Michael Buble. So I knew we’d be friends from there.
She and Tom organized a beautiful wedding, and spent so much time decorating it all themselves.
My good friend Jessica Bennet photographed their day, and ended up getting us both blogged at Style Me Pretty. Which is pretty awesome.
All in all, I think the wedding took. Which is really what’s most important.
Mike & Gabby
Mike and Gabby got in touch with me kind of last minute, and were so excited to find that I was available. I love when that happens.
My friends Jon Paul and Wes were shooting pictures and by buddy Tony Adams was making most of their food. So it was cool to hang out with good people and see good people tie the knot.
Their wedding was beautiful, and even editing the video I loved seeing the emotion on each of their faces throughout the night. It’s just so good.
They chose Beirut for the soundtrack, and it fit so well. Win!
Donavin & Rachael
A photographer friend of mine Cheryl Traugott referred me to Donavin and Rachael to have me shoot their wedding, and I’m super glad she did. It was gorgeous and I had a great time being there.
It’s always a feat in Florida to have an outdoor wedding where everyone doesn’t hate each other before it’s over, and they definitely accomplished that.
When I sent this over to them the first time Rachael said that this was probably one of their favorite purchases for the wedding, which is always something good to hear.
And the Temper Trap makes a solid music choice for this too right? They picked it!
Dave & Sarah
Dave has been a close friend of mine for several years, and I was nothing short of honored to shoot his and Sarah’s wedding. They are incredible people, and I could not have been happier for them.
And, this was the first winter themed wedding I had ever seen, which turned out awesome!
Kyle & Melissa
Kyle and Melissa Hyams found me through their photographers, jpandw.com, who happen to be good friends of mine.
They are from Orlando, Florida but many of their friends and family live in Miami, which is where they had the celebration.
The ceremony and reception were in an old Spanish monastery just outside of Miami, and it was awesome.
The music they picked was “Silver Soul” by Beach House, and it could not have fit more perfectly.
I think overall, the moment I realized the party was really crazy, was when Melissa’s grandfather started drinking from a canteen of Romanian Moonshine…
That’s just not something you see every day.

Tam & Al
Tam and Al both live in the New York / New Jersey area, but claim they found me on a wedding blog for central Florida. The strange part about that, is I wasn’t then advertising on any wedding blogs or sites. Must have been meant to be!
They started off their day with a traditional Vietnamese ceremony in Tam’s family’s home, which involved literally all of their friends and family. Half way through, there was an interruption of the loudest sound coming from the kitchen. I couldn’t understand what was being said (I don’t speak Vietnamese, sorry), but apparently the family was hungry and had started literally chopping up a roast pig with a butcher knife. So good.
The festivities all took place around the Orlando Science Center, and the sunset was gorgeous.
These two were incredible, and it couldn’t have been a better day for them.

Sean & Lizzie
I’m pretty sure Sean and Lizzie dated for about 6 years. I only know this because Sean is one of my best friends and he made sure to tell everyone as often as anyone complained about bad relationships. What a guy.
They got married in the great state of South Carolina, right outside of Sumter.
I can’t say I didn’t cry watching Sean try not to. But I’m also not going to say I did. For the record.
Craziest thing from the whole day, the church is a couple hundred years old and definitely rumored to be haunted. We all may have heard some really strange noises in the graveyard while they were taking pictures. Party!

Taylor & Whitney
I met Taylor as I filmed his proposal. Which you can see here. He had hired me to do that and the photographer and I had to sneak around and capture his girlfriend’s experience in the scavenger hunt he had set up in a massive hotel here in Orlando.
We caught up with him literally minutes before he proposed, and he did a great job.
So a few months later, they got married and brought me in to finish the job.
They were married in Lakeland, Florida where they both live and it was gorgeous.
Side note, I’m a huge fan of reception coffee. Just saying.
